Christian Martine Wins Democratic Nomination for House of Delegates

May 11, 2022 — Beaver, WV — Christian Martine has won the Democratic nomination for the House of Delegates, 45th Delegate District. Martine earned 48% of the vote and led the field by 13 percentage points.


Christian Martine, 367 votes, 48.10%. Joseph I. Golden, 266 votes, 34.86%. Kevin Walker, 130 votes, 17.04%.

"Thank you for entrusting me with your support," Christian said, "So we may continue to fight to keep our families together in West Virginia.


Dr. Joe Golden, Martine's leading primary offered a concession. In his Facebook post, Golden wrote:


"I wish well to Christian Martine, West Virginia House of Delegates and will support his candidacy in the General Election. He has shown the commitment and energy to be the next Delegate for the 45th District. He provides an example for younger people to get involved in the affairs of our communities and the state.


Martine will face the Republican challenger in the General Election on November 8, 2022.
